ABOUT US
Victims and survivors are rarely given a seat at the decision-making table and are sidelined from the very processes that most affect them. Abiding by the mantra “nothing about us without us,” the leadership of ARC includes the only two global survivor-led network organizations: the International Network of Victims and Survivors of Serious Human Rights Abuses (INOVAS) and the Global Network of Victims and Survivors to End Wartime Sexual Violence (SEMA). ARC also includes four of the top global organizations working on coalition-building, healing and psychosocial support, data-driven policy, and justice and security: the Mukwege Foundation, the Center for Victims of Torture, Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, and Georgetown Law’s Center on National Security.
ARC is a global, multidisciplinary consortium of victim-centered, evidence-based, trauma-informed organizations that have worked independently for decades in atrocity settings around the world; now we have combined our strengths to create a transformative shift. Together, we can comprehensively address the complex needs of survivors more effectively than any one organization could alone. Our integrated team, equipped with proven decision-making processes and a shared culture of values and local engagement, is uniquely positioned to drive large-scale, systemic change.
